I'm almost done assembling a parts-bass utilizing a walnut Warmoth body. I'll be sure to post some pics here when it's finished.

@Scoops - please edit the original post to qualify walnut wood basses, not simply basses finished in a "walnut" color. I've seen this get lost before on here. Just a suggestion...

Love Walnut, gives an instrument a classic yet timeless look.

Spector Euro4 1977 40th Anniversary LE. Lousy pic, though.

Here's my walnut Rondo Hadean bass uke. I also had a solid body bass uke modified and stained by Pat Wilkins to look like a walnut Rickenbacker, I suppose that one doesn't count.

Have you ever lived with a cat? Every human-owning cat knows exactly who's the Master and who's the Conveyer of Food & Tasty Treats!

And yeah, they do look awesome! ;)

String length is 34”, factory ‘q’ switch. This is the bass Alembic uses to showcase ‘superb walnut’ on their site. Bass plays really nice, not heavy and is balanced. Super awesome ebony board. Cat approved. Walnut grain eerily similar to tiger stripes.
