    In general what sort of tone does walnut have as a core body wood?

    I've got audio samples of my walnut body/top FBB in the basses forum.

    Don't really know how much walnut you are actually hearing, but I loves that bass!

    Walnut is my favorite wood in general. I've only made 10, but each one had walnut in it somewhere. It has a great tap tone...
