$2200 plus $65 shipping. The wait is probably about 6 months.

The Ultra's are usually quicker getting built because that's his best selling unit. The other models can be up to a year. I know people who have gotten the Ultra in about 3 weeks, just depends on how you fall in Walter's cycle.

I've seen a couple for sale on Bassgear.com recently. Unless you are stuck on a new one, you might want to check it.

Are all the WW amps mono, or are some stereo?

Last flier I got from Walter showed two stereo models, a 100 x 2 (not bridgeable) and a 350 x 2 (bridgeable to 1000 mono).

The mono models (for comparison) are 200, 450, 650 or 1200 watts (all into 4 ohm loads)

The longest I know of anyone waiting these days for an ultra is one month.

Yes, the Ultra is the 1200 watt mono amp at 4 ohms mentioned above.

Can someone PM me on a telephone number, e-mail or snail-mail address for Mr. Woods? I'd like to get some more information on his amps, and possibly order one.

    Thanks, Tom.

These are some amps I am going to have to check out. Everyone has nothing but good to say about them. The problem is finding one to try. I suppose that if I were to get one and not like it, it would probably be an easy sell.

Yup, Lots of cats had them up in Boston and NYC when I lived up there... I think that I knew more Upright players than electric players with them then... But Bruce Gertz's tone turned me on to them, cause his tone was so unreal (on both Upright and Electric).

There aren't that many cats here in ATL with them... plus they take a little while if I remember to receive a new one... Granted I would like one, but they are a little too steep for me price-wise.

*If I could find one under a grand, about 1200 watt at 4 ohms and used... I might think about it.

Well, if I come across the same deal first, you won't have to, 'cause I'd jump all over it! ;)
