Want a decent beginners violin

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by ImNotGeddyLee, May 8, 2003.

  1. Im pretty sure this thread belongs here... its music related so its not totally off topic...

So im looking to learn the violin and was wondering if anyone here has any suggestion of a cheap (under $100) beginners violin... I just want something to start with to see if i really like it but I also dont want a total piece of crap (I have seeing beginner bass players getting really cheap crappy basses that make it harder for them to learn).

Check out wood wind brass wind @ www.wwbw.com and they have a pretty big selection of cheapie violins. I haven't played any of them nor do i know anything about playing violin. The only violin related things i do are: play DB & cello, and i hear when i'm playing DB "Look at that big violin" it's sad when it's kids beyond 6th grade :) Thats all
