Want a new bass, need advice

    At the moment I only have the bass I started out with, which is an Ibanez GRS 190 :eyebrow: , that I got as a part of a starterbox. Now I want get a new bass, to really start playing on, since the Ibanez doesn't cut it.

    What I am looking for is a bass between $400 and $600, at the moment I am personally very much interested in the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Bass. But I would like to know what you guys would advice for a good bass :bassist:

    The LP would be a definite upgrade. They're not bad for the money. The whole Epi bass line is worth a look.

    Okay, so the LP remains a good option, the problem with the Warmoth is, though they have great stuff, it is more expensive then a stockbuild guitar, and also I can't build it myself.

    Any other basses that would be good to look at, I intend to play various types of music on it. :bassist:
