Hi, Recently, I have got my hands on a MTD 635-24 (Ash, wenge/wenge) that sounds absolutely amazing. However, I have found that i prefer a 5-string version (a MTD 535 or 534-24 ). Preferably one with a maple neck and fingerboard, but it is not a necessity. Mine is in absolutely mint condition. It is from 2003, but it haven't been outside the previus owners house until I brought it home a month ago. I gently adjusted the trussrod and the action is extremely low without any buzz - nice craftmanship! Usually, the six-string version (especially w/ 24 frets) is a little more expensive, but I would be willing to trade one-to-one if any of you guys have a MTD 535 in a decent condition.
