Now when you can put that stuff on a windshield...that will be one giant leap for mankind!! I was bummed that it apparently turns glass opaque (I Googled to see if you could).

 

But how would you shower?

It would come in handy for fabrics (think tents and hunting bags) and leather.

Wouldn't heat be an issue for some electronic? Won't that stuff clog your microphone or speaker holes?

 

From what I understand, the coating is super thin (like molecular) - and if my phone is hot enough to melt stuff, I'm taking the battery out before it explodes! I doubt our bass heads need the treatment, but this would be great for phones and tablets/iPads that don't need moving parts like fan motors.

Some liquids will stick to waterproofing agents and wax. This stuff looks like it'll wick off any liquid.
