warm and punchy

    how would you guys change the settings on your eq to get a warm sound with jsut alittle punch, think kinda jazzy uprighty, any ideas?
  2. IME a set of flat wound strings will accomplish most of what your looking for.

    Boost lows and lower mids, flatwound strings, played fingerstyle over the neck pup or over the end of the fretboard.
  4. P-bass with mutes, flatwounds, cut the treble. Maybe a side of fries.

    All of the above. Plus turn your pickup pan towards the neck pickup and boost the lows, roll off the treble.
