SOLD Warmoth Gecko 5

Beautiful and expertly crafted Warmoth Gecko 5 up for sale. I recently purchased a Dingwall ABZ 5er and love it enough to keep it, so for financial reasons only, need to let this beauty go. By far the best 5 string I've owned up to the Dingwall, but that's twice the price, so it makes some sense.

This bass was built by Jome77, from here on TB, and as you can see from the pics, and as I can attest to the balance and playability, this guy knows how to build em. This Gecko 5 has the following features:

Walnut top
Wenge neck and fingerboard
Stainless steel frets
Bartolini pickups
Gotoh tuners

Only issue I am aware of is scratchiness in the volume pot. That's it. Clean body, neck, little wear on the pickups.

Sound is modern with a good deal of tone modification thanks to the Aguilar OBP3 pre and the chosen woods. Hate to see it go, but cant afford them all.

Weight = 11.5 on a bathroom scale

 

Another testament to the build and component quality....this bass, regardless of conditions, rarely goes out of tune. I've been amazed how this beauty holds tight where my others would need tuned up from session to session.
