This is a Fender Licensed Vintage Warmoth Jazz Bass neck that I have had since 1997. It has a Fender decal applied under the finish. The neck is straight and the truss rod screw spins freely. The frets have some wear but they have a lot of life left in them, no issue at all but just thought it was worth mentioning because it has been played over these last twenty years. I would put this neck up against any Fender Custom Shop neck in terms of workmanship.

This neck is ready to bolt on and go. Lots of mojo and it plays like a dream. There are a few dings here and there as indicated in the pictures. The dark marking on the back of the neck is only cosmetic and there is one chip in the finish on the back around the second fret. I never found it to be a problem but it can be repaired by any competent luthier. The neck is a real player and would finish off any project very nicely. The pictures tell the story.

    Wow. 21 frets?

  3. Yes, I don't remember if that was optional or just the way it came.

As a neck, it goes to 'eleven'.
