Warmoth neck or new Bass?

  1. Hi. In about a year, I was thinking of getting an MTD Kingston 5. That's pretty much set. But i was thinking: the only thing (other than pickups) that I really don't like on my Kramer 4 is the neck and its lack of stiffness.

So, I was thinking, that maybe I could replace the neck with a Warmoth P neck and continue using the Kramer as my main 4 string.

Is it worth it, or should I just save up for a better 4? BTW; I would also probably put Bartolini or EMG pickups in the Kramer as well.

dunno your pretty much changing everything except the body...soooo if u like the body alot i'd say go for it. I was never a big fan of Kramers, but if you like it it'd be cool. The pickups and new neck sound killer. Good luck with your choice.
  3. that's ture; it would be almost 500 dollars worht of modifications to the bass. For that price I could get a MTD Kingston 4 (I'm obsessed with these things hehe) or a used MIA Fender P Standard...
