Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by fenderbluesdude, Nov 27, 2004.

  1. for anybody that has a warmoth neck, when you first got it was it actually drilled for bml tuners, where there 4 holes for the tuner, or was it just the main big hole that the tuner slides through? i want to know beacuse i dont want to use those bml tuners i wnat to use hipshot hb2 tuners instead.

If you are asking about the little screw holes for the wood screws that hold the tuner in, no, they do not put them in automatically. Maybe they will do it if you ask for them. As to your other question, there are different tuner hole size options. I would E-mail Warmoth and ask them about the Hipshot size to see if they can do them.

BTW if you do the screw holes yourself, just be sure to use a hole that is large enough so that the little screw does not go in too tight. They are really easy to snap off! You might need a number drill size. What this means is that the standard 1/16",3/32", etc. sizes will not necessarily be fine enough increments, and you may need a "numbered" size drill.

No, Warmoth won't pre-drill the screws holes.

The HipShot UltraLites with the 1/2" posts with fit the BML holes.
