I know the history of usacustom (former Warmoth employees). I like both products. I was looking for evaluations from people who have actually used these companies? Any problems with either one?

Do a search under my name and you'll find several posts with my thoughts and opinions on USACG. You should also come across photos and a comprehensive review of the jazz bass project I completed several months ago.

I haven't built any USA Custom basses but I heard that their stuff is excellent.

Personally, I like Warmoth parts. All the parts I've used have been high quality with no problems!!!!!

i like the guys at USA and tommy's always been the man.

but i do find that the parts i've gotten were a bit inconsistent. e.g. the one neck of the 3 jazz necks i've had from them is already showing signs of a dead spot, also they routed a 5 string body with pickup spacing for a 4 string!

Warmoth's stuff on the other hand is always consistent and great, tho they do need to work on their people skills, and general turn around time which at last call was up near 2 months!
