A few months back I decided that I wanted to assemble my own P bass, both for the learning experience and because I wanted a p bass. Well, after all the work was done, I determined P basses just weren't my thing at the time, so it just sat.

After much deliberation I've decided the best course of action is to sell her, although it does have some sentimental value, its just not fair to keep a nice instrument to just collect dust.

    So, here's the specs:

The neck is a Warmoth custom build designed as follows:

    Headstock - L.P. Bass
    Construction - Bass Angled
    Orientation - Right Handed
    Shaft Wood - Birdseye Maple
    Fingerboard Wood - Birdseye Maple
    Nut Width - 1 1/2"
    Back Contour - Standard thin
    Fretwire - 6130
    Tuner ream - GB7 (14mm)
Mounting Options - Standard 4 Bolt
    Fret Number - 21
    Radius - Straight 10"
    Inlays - Black Face Dots
    Nut Install - White Corian
Neck Finish - Clear Satin Nitro
    Scale - 34 in.

    White Pearl Pick guard

Dimarzio DP 127 "Spilt P" Pickups

    Gotoh 403 Gold Bridge

    All gold hardware

And a regular sunburst kinda body.

The body and the Tuners are the only pieces that were not bought new. The tuners are from an old Schecter Custom-4 bass I had, and the P bass body was the body of an of old Kustom brand pbass which is what gave me the idea to undergo the process.

Overall the bass is in very nice condition, it does however have a few nicks here and there on the body as it was not a brand new body.

The one main blemish with the bass is that, in drilling for the new bridge, I placed the bridge too high twice, however, once the bridge was placed in the correct spot the holes were covered. The only two holes that are not covered are from the original bridge, which I filled with matchsticks, red side up and they are not all that noticeable, I'll mark them in the pics below.
Price $450 shipped Conus with Fender Pbass Case.

I'm also very interested in the Peavey VB heads. I'd love to trade for one, plus some cash on my end.

Okay, since I know this is of extreme interest for all the TB community and you guys are watching this like a hawk - trying everything in your power to get it, so I'm offering a specific trade option.

I want a Peavey VB-2 or Vb-3, both plus of course I'll add agreed upon cash.
