Awesome! I have a Wenge neck on the Red Devon bass in my Avatar Profile pic and I have another Devon 5 that has a Wenge fingerboard. Possibly one of the best neck materials of all time! GLWTS

They're 6150's, which Warmoth describes as, "Wide and tall. The standard 'Jumbo'"

It's the hole closest to the "B" in "By Fender"

Congrats! In all the years I've sold basses, guitars and parts on Ebay, Reverb and TB you are the first one to ask a neck's weight. . . It's 2 lbs 14 oz.

It's now available on top, but I'll reproduce it here. This is the neck's specs as listed on Warmoth's receipt.

It's important for instrument balance on lightweight bodies. Important to me anyways. Thanks for the info.

I have a couple of P basses with the incredible Delano big pole P on them. One has a wenge neck with ebony fretboard, the other with maple on maple. You can tell they are the same pickups. Both are smooth a muscular sounding. But the wenge neck imparts a bit more girth, and a bit more butter (if that makes any sense). The maple neck, in contrast, is more aggressive and a bit brighter. Both basses are eminently useful, musical tone machines.
