The purpose of this thread is not as a support group for the victims.

We keep it alive to serve as warning to any new potential victims that may be tempted by Huff’s lies and schemes.

For the record, I was explaining to you, not blasting at you. It's a little hard to tell sometimes.

    Thanks.

Hey, we all should be family, right?
I have been frustrated along with all and don't necessarily always agree with the hardliners at either end of this discussion.
Can see why some would be concerned about the original customers but can definitely see the other side from a pure business standpoint.

Glad this thread will serve as warning for any newcomers.
Will now go post about new combo and bass :)

    Peace

I think any comments made regarding those who have purchased and were ripped off should be made with a degree of kindness and compassion, , as they are the victims here.

Sometimes it’s not exactly what we say but how we say it..... it’s especially hard to judge intent on an Internet forum

Totally, ongoing fraudsters is 100% limited to lutheirs. This definitely NEVER happens in other industries.

That was the point. This happens across the board. This guy is no different than a criminal jeweler, contractor or attorney.

I have had fantastic dealings with two luthiers. 4k on a mandolin. Built to order, 7 months from wood selection to delivery.

How you could possibly read this as an indictment against the industry???
If my writing was that unclear- apologies.

Clearly one individual is the problem in all of this thread- Mr. Huff.

Has anyone entertained the question what would happen to your open order if this guy dies before it gets completed?

I'm a decade or two older than him, so it's far more likely that I'll die before it's completed. If I were to place a bet.... scratch that, it's not something I'd ever wager on. ;)

Sadly it was right the first time, no need to repair that which will never exist.

Funny. I was just wondering what this Huff guitar costs. My valuation would be $800-1000-if I'm generous. Personally, I would not buy it at all. I don't want aluminum hardware, like the color, or the shape. Also, I don't know how it plays or sounds.

I was wondering because it is the only guitar he has made this year, so if it was 100% profit, he should be selling it for $15,000 to make a living at this. I don't know who wants aluminum hardware either

Yeah, it's not my cup o' tea either.

I just have a hard time passing up an opportunity to make a snarky comment

  20. That guitar looks like a Telecaster, LP Jr. and a Gretsch had a three-way...
