I think he’s saying, that he’s done saying, that he will finish the backlog.
He claims he's going to hang up his woodworking tools once he completes all outstanding orders. He has recently posted pics of guitar and bass necks in progress to the Zeller page.
Hang up his tools? They're not even broken in yet! If he would step up and complete all outstanding orders, the first thing he should do is introduce his line of "Redemption Basses & Guitars". Build and sell 1 at a time, obviously.
It's just another phase. He'll be back with the next great thing and launch a new scheme.
Custom wood, laser etched bass stands.
Specially designed to hold D.Huff basses...……..
Thing is, he's definitely doing work if those bass necks are something to go by. They cannot be old stock as he didn't have a workshop for some time. I wonder if he has spurts of energy/compulsion to take on a task, completes it and then can't galvanise himself into finishing other, related tasks.
He definitely suffers from some medical condition. I just don't know what that is.
Scroll bass cutting boards?
Seats for stools (a la that MM body)....
Maybe. Maybe the cocobolo turned him loopy?
All joking aside, you may be correct.
Wood Steely Dan's?
Then he should start building monocoque graphite basses.
Maybe it was wormwood and he’s experiencing absinthe-like hallucinations.
I believe he made a transposition error: what he meant was 2200.
Zager and Evans comes to mind
Here's my design for the most suitable for these basses:
Because something that doesn't exist doesn't need a stand.
Given the number of orders and the rate of progress will he live long enough?
Only if he's Methuselah.
2525, if man is still alive...
LOL, your number sounds more realistic ;-)
