Can anyone tell me how the broadneck compares to the standard 5 string neck for the thumb bass? I do not see any around they do not seem very common. Is there alot of difference in feel?

The broad neck, IMO, doesn't seem to have the bottom end as the regular Thumb BO 5.

I currently play a Thumb BO WN. The difference is obviously the 20mm string spacing. I did do a comparison between my bass and a friend standard 5 through my Eden WT800 and 410XLT. The difference was minimal. Mostly in the upper midrange. WN is slightly twangier, probably because of the PU. If you want the WN for the comfort of playing go for it. You can always put in EMG 40J's which are wired like single coiled J bass PU.

I preferred the WN cause of the size and it just had a fuller sound for me. Probably cause the neck is like a 2x4. I love it. :hyper:
