What do you think about Warwick amps? I ve seen a pro fet IV head but i didn't had the time to test it yet. I d like to know what is your opinion on this amp.

I owned a Pro Tube IV briefly.

    Here is my assessment:

A very smooth solid state sound with a tight bottom end and gutsy enough mids to thrust through a guitar-heavy mix. This is on the solid-state side.
On the "TUBE" side, it is REALLY grindy, as if an overexaggerated attempt at a genuine all-tube amp sound.
There is a good amount of power and plenty of tweakability on Warwick amps. If 400 or so watts of smoothness suits you, I suggest you at least give the Pro Fet a test run.

  3. I have a used ProFet IV for sale in my shop, and I've tried it out. It's a pretty good amp, has a lot of tone shaping options, and has a good amount of power. I would be quite happy to use it in a pro situation.
