I like these!
Those are very cool looking, but I bet they show fingerprints really bad.
The black chrome one kicks ass
I've played a CT Streamer 4-string, polished chrome finish. The ultimate "metal" bass IMO.
And I actually think fingerprints come out worse on high plish colored basses.
I still think gloss black shows fingerprints worst. And that's one reason I like it.
Those chrome-tone basses are pimpin'... I love 'em!
I especially like the blue one... to me, it's way cool-looking. However, I don't think I'll buy one anytime soon.
Saw Brand New Heavies with a Rifled Gold Streamer... looked very nice onstage. However, when he switched from his Jazz to the Streamer without adjusting levels, the Ampeg 810, known for it's reliablility and indestructability, after moving a couple of inches away (it was visibly shaking as he struck the first few notes), died.
The blue chrome is my favorite.
Yuck - those are just nasty looking.
I've owned 4 warwicks over the years.
I prefer the oil finish. that is one thing that drew me to them.
remember their slogan...Warwick - "the sound (and look) of wood"
They're cool to look at imo, I like normal streamer too though .
I want one. Now.
i like the chrome and gold chrome ones......but one thing....why waste flame maple on a bass that you aint gonna see it?
Better than being wasted for firewood or paper...
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks those are aweful.
Black chrome FTW.
I own a Warwick also and love the oil finish on them, but that black chrome its killing me
