Reluctantly for sale is my Warwick Corvette Standard 6.

$850 shipped. PayPal only. (These sell for $1350 new... my loss is your gain)

This bass is only 2 months old. I have never taken it out of my home. I live in a smoke-free home.

This bass is in like-new condition except for one minor scrape on the wood from when I was installing one of the EMG pickups. It's kind of hard to see, but it's in one of the pictures.

I swapped out the pickups for EMG 45J pickups to give it that traditional single-coil sound. Thus, I call this one my super-jazz. I kept it with the EMG volume-volume-tone controls because the bass's natural sound really shines through this way. The neck is straight and the action is low. No fret-buzzing or dead spots anywhere. She's a monster and sounds phenomenal. I'm only getting rid of her because I'm strapped for cash.

    Specifications:
    --solid bubinga body
    --wenge fingerboard
    --ovangkol neck with ekanga veneers
    --chrome Warwick hardware
    --24 bell-brass frets
    --34" scale
    --10 lbs of weight
    --EMG 45J single-coil pickups
    --16.5mm string spacing
--Warwick Black Label stainless steel strings

The bass will ship in a brand new RoadRunner gig bag.

Is this the professional series or German?

This is Professional series but it's every bit as good as the German, and I've had many Warwicks, almost all German.

Looks great. I'd love to tear into this one.

Did you have to rout it out for EMGs?

    Cheers.

Bartolini and Aguilar preamps? If so, yes. But you would have to make sure that you use 25K volume and 25K blend pots.
