For sale is a brand-new German-made Warwick Corvette Pro Series 6 string bass. $1600 shipped. PayPal only (unless sale is local) I just took delivery of this bass but realized that I prefer basses with graphite necks. But there is nothing wrong with this bass. It is spectacular in every way. The bass still has the original box and all tags. The photos are of the actual bass from the original dealer I purchased it from two weeks ago. Yes. This bass is heavy. But the woods used (ovangkol, bubinga, and wenge) speak for themselves in terms of tone, quality, and durability. That's precisely why Warwick choose to use these woods and in this particular combination. In my opinion and experience, you get more than it's "weight" in terms of overall quality and value.
Totally agree...I still own pair of bubinga Corvette fours that I love despite their weight. Tone & quality for days... Gonna think long & hard on this one...that’s one of my dream basses you have there!
