warwick corvette (or other hifi bass) into b15n?

There's a vette up on cl here, but I don't want to waste someone else's time along with my own if it's likely that the sound coming out of my beta won't be significantly different from a plain ol' jazz after getting rounded off by the ampeg. So, anyone out there with a b15 love playing Warwicks or other hifi basses through it for reasons of tone?
