    I found Warwick Corvette for 650 $.. Is it worth it? What playability it has? Sound ? I'm playing mostly metalcore/emocore, will this bass cut through ?
    Peace

    i have a bubinga corvette std. and it works well for me. Cuts thru very well in a band setting. I also find it very versatille(sp?). Works well in all kinds of settings. My band is kinda a emo-rock band and it works well and ive seen it in jazz trios and it worked well with them too. For 650 its not a bad deal. I bought mine new for around 900 i think. My only complaint is its heavy, but the ash should be lighter than my bubinga.

    Metalcore=metal+hardcore
    Hardcore= metal + punk
    Think of metalcore as two parts metal and one part punk.
    Emocore=emo+hardcore.
    Emo...I'm at a loss for words right now.

    This is how I understand it.

    Thank God someone finally knows the difference between hardcore and metalcore.

    Let me try the emo definition.

    Emo = mellow, slow, sometimes poppy, melodic music, often associated with crying and fashions include wide rimmed glasses, vintage track jackets, and sweaters.

    Metalcore-Poison the Well, Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, just about every band that has the words "Die" or "Blood" in them, or start with a preposition, From Autumn To Ashes
    Hardcore-Bane, Hatebreed, That Was Then, This Is Now (I highly reccomend these guys), Slap Shot, Ten Yard Fight
    Emocore-Thursday, older Thrice, some say My Chemical Romance
    Emo-Sunny Day Real Estate, Cursive, Penfold, Cross My Heart, the Rocking Horse Winner, Mineral
