SOLD Aug 2 No trades. Thanks you. This is an amazing example of the work done in the Warwick Custom Shop in Markneukirchen Germany. Up for auction is a Warwick model type 0325371000GDATUOWW FNA (Corvette) Jazzman 5-string. This bass was built and completed on December 22, 2003. The bass was displayed at the NAMM show. It's in near mint condition and per the original owner (who I bought the bass from) was only played out a couple of times. No doubt in my mind that it's true given the condition of the bass. If you've checked you know that new FNA Jazzman models on Musician's Friend go for more than $3k with a comparatively tame maple top. This bass is constructed with the following woods. The body wings are made from swamp ash, the top is a drop dead gorgeous exotic Curly and Bird's Eye Hawaiin Koa, the neck is Ovangkol, and the finger board is fretted Wenge. The entire body is fininshed in a natural high gloss. All of the hardware is gold and includes the Warwick bass machine heade and their 2-piece bridge assembly. The pickups are the MEC J/MM type. The control knobs include a volume with push/pull fro active or passive, trebel control, mid range control, and bass control. There is also a 3-way toggle which functions as follows: When the switch is in the up position the bridge pick-up is humbucking and routed in series. When the switch is in the middle position the bridge pick-up is single coil and routed as humcanceling with the neck pick-up. When the switch is in the down position the bridge pick-up is humbucking and routed in parall. Pretty much giving you any tone from super modern to traditional and everything in between. My starting price is much less than a modern day mass produced bass, and you get a hand built one of a kind masterpiece that is sure to hold or perhaps increase in value. The bass comes with a Warwick Hard shell case, original owners manual, original warranty card with bass sopecifications and hand signed, and the original Warwick Custom Shop certificate of authenticity. I have included a link with over 30 images I have hosted. I know very little (nothing ) about Warwicks but this thing is a beauty!! Scale length? What's the string spacing at the bridge? Does it have the meaty chunky neck Warwicks are known for? Would you ship overseas?
34 inch scale 16.5 mm This is the second Warwick I have owned and I would say the neck is fairly meaty so I assume it's typical of other Corvettes. I will ship overseas. Thanks! Yes this is a beautiful bass, Dave
Need to sell some items to fund a Ken Smith purchase. Another price drop. $1725 includind ground shipping to the lower 48. Thanks, Dave
