With some reluctance I am listing my Warwick Fortress 5 string fretless in gorgeous trans green finish. This is a 1995 serial number so in addition to the sought after wenge neck, this also has the paddle headstock. This means that the truss rod in this bass is easily removable and replaceable should anything go wrong. So in addition to great tone and vibe, this bass has a built in insurance policy!

This bass is in very clean condition with a tiny bit of light scratching on the back that I tried to capture in the photos. It is not easily noticeable. I would say cosmetically this bass is a solid 9/10 and I am probably being a little picky. The pictures speak for themselves.

As with other basses from this magical era or Warwick, this bass has flush mounted straplocks installed. Pickups are stock MEC J types (Gold Label) and the bass is fitted with a 2 band EQ with the volume doubling as a bypass switch. Action is nice and low, neck is straight and the mwah is mwahsome!

Like all Fortresses this bass is not at all hefty and balances great owing to the long upper horn. This is a very comfortable and manageable 5 string.

My asking price for this is $SOLD shipped CONUS in a gig bag. If you are in MST or PST time zones please add $30 for the additional shipping costs.

I much prefer cash so I am not interested in trades unless the value is significantly in my favor.

If you have any questions please PM me.

Warwick's fretless basses play like butter. Practically play themselves imo.
