For sale my warwick fortress one. One old bass that looks like new. 1996 model, 9 out of 10 condition, made in germany, flame maple body, wenge neck, replaceable truss rod, active MEC pickups and electronics, brass adjustable nut. Sounds great, deep and punchy tone. It has a very low action, plays itself almost! Selling because i have my eyes on something else, comes with straplocks and in a warwick gigbag that is in good condition except for a ripped handle. Ask any questions, thanks!

9.4 pounds, it balances very well, not top heavy and no neck dive

Yes, it has weight... ;) Not as bad as Alembic, but 'wick makes you pay for that awesome tone!

Well, Fortress is probably the least taxing body style. The super long horn makes the weight space out quite a lot, very comfortable to play.

Very nice bass. I've always had a soft spot for the old Fortress basses.

My early 90s fortress, my first "real" bass, is amazing. Super growly, and tight. I put a drop tuner on years ago and it's three tightest drop C sharp I've ever played.
