What could be a better interview format for discussing exciting musical topics than musicians interviewing musicians? In our new and exclusive series, Warwick and Framus endorsers meet for an interview session, one of them acting as the interviewer, the other acting as the interviewee.

This week's featured artists are Warwick Endorser Hansford Rowe and Framus endorser Jordi Torrens. Everybody who is familiar with Hansford and Jordi knows that this is a meeting of two jazz and fusion musicians whose professional career has already lasted for more than 30 years. The early stages of Hansford’s musical development were mostly marked by club gigs in the New York scene, until his membership in the legendary French progressive rock group "Gong" led to his rise to international fame. Hansford quickly earned the reputation of one of the leading bass players worldwide and has worked with world-renowned artists such as Mike Oldfield, Allan Holdsworth and La Monte Young. Furthermore, he cooperated with Warwick in the development of the legendary "Just Intonation Bass", which allows for the use of microtonal scales.

Jordi Torrens is known as one of Spain's most skilled jazz guitarists, whose professional career began in 1980. Already four years later, he began touring with several Latin superstars such as Moncho, Dyango, Armando Manzanero and Olga Guillot. Furthermore, Jordi is famous for his expertise as a composer, teacher and producer.

The interview led by Hansford gives the viewer ample opportunity to learn about the foundations and influences of Jordi's trademark Jazz-influenced Latin playing style. Furthermore, it provides detailed insight into the early stages of Jordi's musical development, up to his solo career which started in 2004. And last but not least, Jordi explains how he discovered his love for the Framus AZ-10.

In the coming five months, a new, exclusive interview will be released each week. All of them will be added to the section "Warwick/Framus Players Face To Face", so be sure to visit our official website regularly!
