    Sorry if this is hijacking the thread, but hey Cliff... I'm getting a custom bass made for me by Darrin Huff and it's going to have the same pickup configuration and placement as your bass here: http://www.cbbasses.com/basses/S-02-1-11.htm

    Mine is going to have the same exact pickups, switching (P/J/HB), etc. How does this configuration work out? Does it cut through the mix like I magine it would? I imagine it being like a very versatile Warwick Thumb bass. Also, do you have any sound clips of that bass?
