warwick pricing

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Youngspanion, Jul 7, 2005.

  1. Is it safe to figure that one can buy a bass 35% to 40% off of the list price for a Warwick bass? Or for any bass for that matter?

New? No. I wouldn't say anywhere near that much...

Buy a Warwick that is used.

You'll save plenty, and most I have seen are well taken care of.

In Europe if you run across an exhibition piece, then it is possible.
Otherwise you can't get 40% off. 25-30-35% probably, but not 40%
In the US, however, not really plausible.

But if you say used, then sure.
  6. I've heard of people getting at least 35% off of other brands like Fender or Music Man for instance. Is it just a Warwick that you cannot buy for that much off the list? Maybe my information is wrong. If not 35-40% off than how much?

Whatever they list it as being on their site, you can take a hundred or two off.

I bought my Streamer LX a couple of years ago at 35% off the list price.

Depends if you are talking about list or retail price.
  10. When the manufacturer makes a price list as Fender, Music Man and Warwick do, that is the List Price of the instruments. Right? Now they sell it for and you can bargain for 30 to 40% off of that list price. Right? :eyebrow:
  11. +++1. Bought an 11 yr old warwick fretless; great condidion and sounds awsome. Great price! Keep your eyes out!
