    Hello dear bassheads,

Im currently in the market to upgrade from my Trace Elliot to either an Ampeg SVT4 Pro or Warwick Pro-Tube VI or IX.
Does anyone here have any thoughts/views to which would be the better option?
I know the Warwick is cheaper in terms of price but I really don't know and the thought of throwing away the best part of £1000+($1800) on something that aint right would...suck!
I play hardcore style - I like the "clunky" sound but without sounding too trebly or too flabby/bassy.

Also, can anyone recommend a cab to look into?
Was thinking Ampeg 6x10 or Hartke 8x10 for similar money £600+($1000)...

Your help most def. appreciated! :bassist:
