When is Warwick going to make demo videos of the new Streamer Stage 1 and 2 with the wenge necks?

jeremy_p - Our product specialist Andy Irvine is currently in Germany, making demo videos for all of the new and updated products. I'm sure you'll be seeing new videos coming out soon. Thanks for your interest!

Sweet, I love his vidoes. I like his slap style too, I try to replicate it but I just can't get the hang of it or any slap style for that matter.

  5. Hmm... Maybe we can use this thread to post instruments that we'd like Andy (or even another Warwick bass-hero) to demonstrate for us.

I'm sort of curious how the "W" Bass sounds.

I'd like to see a longer demonstration of the Rockbass Triumph Lite. I know there was a brief Steve Bailey demo from NAMM, but I'd like to see a longer demo. Maybe he can record a longer video for us.

I've been in talks with Chris in NY to see about borrowing a Triumph Lite when they become available to help answer any questions.

A lot of the inquiries I've read in regard to the Triumph involve how well you can bow it which does take a skill set that a lot of people (meaning, that didn't take any classical URB training) may not have. For me anyway, the bowability is going to be the difference between making the Triumph Lite a heavy contender in the EUB market and just something else.

Jon - From what I've seen, there is no reason that the Triumph Lite would be any different with a bow than URB? The original Triumph bass is fantastic with a bow, and the Triumph lite is simply a scaled-down version. Looking forward to your experience with it, when it becomes avaialable. Thanks!

Radiused fingerboard, full URB scale and the ability to use actual URB strings leaves little doubt in my mind either, Garey. But I know a lot of people would like to see/hear that before passing judgement, given how many EUBs are already out there, and the pricetag on the Triumph Lite is where a lot of the more questionable offerings are. Which I know that once some great demos get made, will completely blow peoples' minds!

I'm excited that you guys are considering my proposal! I have a number of gigs coming up in the upcoming months (as in, into late October) that are 90% EUB, so when the Triumph Lite becomes available, I can easily throw it in the trenches.
