what are people's opinions of these basses who have owned/played one?

im looking for a new bass but unfortunately my wallet won't stretch too far.

are there any other basses recommended in a similar price bracket?

  2. Hmmm...a rock bass. Iv played a couple, and I have played a couple warwicks. Ummm....I like the warwicks 10000000X more, but then again, they are really expensive. The rockbass just kinda played like just another bass, but it was kinda nice. I like the warwick necks and rockkbass has a little bit of that. hmm...go try one! hey, if you dont like it, you can get a squire or a MIM fender jazz :D

hey i owned a rockbass corvette (almondburst) for 10 days. thats when it stopped working, took it to a music shop, they had no idea what was wrong with it. i returned it(thank god it was still under the store's 15 day warranty), bought my beautiful stingray, and never looked back
