Warwick sale at Guitar Center?

    So I went to GC today to kill some time and I noticed ALL of their Warwick's were significantly reduced in price. The Corvette's with the J pups were down to 700$ and the MM's were about 950$, all 5 bangers. I asked one of the guys that works there about it and he said they just can't sell them, most have been there for almost a year.

    I've always wanted one of the Corvette's but didn't want spend 1200 - 1700 on one. Probably going to put one of these bad mofo's on layaway.

    So is this just my local GC or has anyone else noticed others doing the same?

    I saw a corvette $$ on sale last night for 899 I believe it was. If they didn't keep them set up like crap and cared for them every now and then, they might not have so much trouble selling it for its actual price.

    Yeah you're right, there was only one that had a half way decent set up, the rest were down right horrible.

    Those prices are great.

    At my local store outside of Toronto, most Warwicks are still $2000-3000. They have also mostly sat for 2+ years so I guess there is no urgency to turn Warwick stock (and this is Canada's biggest retailer) as IF there is ever a Warwick "sale", they may give $200-300 off tops.

    Actually, there is a Dolphin that I am starting to think I own as I play it so often! It has been on the wall as long as I have been going there (3+ years!:eek:).

    warwicks are really expensive in the US
