    **** SOLD! *****

I'm really on the fence about selling this amazing instrument, but I went on a Spector binge and it's now time to pay the bill, so a few of my excellent basses are up for sale.

Here we have one of Warwick's finest, a Special Edition Streamer LX Redwood. All stock. One of only 40 made (only 20 were 4 string). This bass plays so smoothly, with super low action and its neck is very thin and SO fast. A pleasure to play!

Bartolini pickups and preamp. 1.5 nut. DR Fat Beams. Super light (8.5 ish pounds). Balances perfectly sitting and on strap.

As you'll see in all of the pictures, this bass is in excellent condition. I take great care of my instruments!

The tonal capabilities are everything you would hope for in a $3,700 bass. But no need to take my word for it, Ed Friedland reviewed one of these for Guitar World magazine and he loved it!

Here's the Guitar World article on this bass.

You can see the excellent review here and you'll get to hear how great it sounds!!!

Check out the pictures and my comments below. Let me know if you have any questions.

Price is $1,599 shipped. CONUS and PayPal only.

I'll consider international shipping for the right buyer.

Let the GAS inducing images begin....

One of THE NICEST all around basses I've even been lucky enough to own!

    Simply. Gorgeous.
The only negative to point out is someone had long nails and went slap happy on the redwood. There are minor indentations around the typical player wear areas. You do not notice these marks unless you are looking for them. See close up below.

This bass sounds even better than it looks... Seriously!
    Extremely clean, head to toe!

Ebony board has been treated regularly with Gorgomyte (highly recommend for Warwick brass frets)

Frets are 9.5/10 condition, and the ebony board is perfect. Looks killer too!
Swamp ash at its finest. Clean. This bass sings, and barks, and growls and everything in between.
Special Edition 2010 lasered into the wood. 15 / 40 produced. Only 20 were 4-strings. Rare.
Warwick Rock Bag and everything you see here, including tools, Warwick strap locks, and certificate of authenticity.

This redwood top is incredible looking. Deep and stunning figuring. I can stare at for five minutes before even picking it up. Then you can't put it down!

  4. Thank you guys. PMs responded.

I forgot to mention no trades unless you have a Spector Forte.

Aaaaahh... it sounds typical on bartolini (similar to MTD) but I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH IT.
Would you mind to trade it for Schack Unique BO5 EVEN if I am outta US? :D

I own this bass in a 5er and I love its tone and weight. The Barts were a great compliment to this bass. GLWTS!

I once had a 5 string just like this. Fantastic sounding and playing. Somebody buy this.

  8. Yes, these basses are amazing. Of the 40 that were made only 20 were 4-strings, and I think 2 of those might have been lefty versions. So only 18 in the entire World!

And of all the gorgeous Vavona burl redwood tops, this one is the best looking piece I've seen, IMO. Look at those pictures again.... this bass is stunning!

Absolutely gorgeous bass, one of my favorite limited editions Warwick has produced. I've played a few of these at various stores, and they never cease to amaze. Slightly different tone from the traditional "Warwick" sound, but I mean that in the best way possible (and I absolutely love the Warwick sound, so that's saying a lot). Great player, great tone, great looks...can't go wrong here.

  10. I've had several Warwicks over the years and played Thumbs exclusively for many years. I agree with you about this limited edition, everything about it is excellent. Fit, finish, tone, balance. The tone is what I like best on this one!

  12. Whole lot of interest, but nobody has been able to round up the cash yet. Whoever does buy this Wick will be more than ecstatic that they did!
