Warwick Streamer Stage 1 Pickups- MEC or Basslines?

    I love my SS1 but am curious why I see alot of SS1's with Basslines? Did they come stock with them for awhile or are they a good fit for the bass????? I like my MEC's but am curious if the Basslines would be an improvement.......or just different.

    My guess would be they were inspired by the pnut signature streamers which come with basslines.

    I think wether its an impovement is all opinion. They are both good ways to go. I'm not a huge fan of open pole pickups myself. Some rip up my fingers when i dog in hard some don't. But all of them make a pretty undesirable sound if the string hits the poles. I've even seen people put tape over them to help with that. But that's mainly an issue for me because i like light gauge strings.
