Which of these basses are better?
I've just found a incredible offer, where a store has taken 50% of the price of a Warwick Standard 5 string.
Now I have a Ibanez BTB405, and I desperately need to know, which one is better?

There's nothing wrong with the bass, the offer is from one of the biggest music stores in denmark.
I dont know about the tone and playability, I havent tried the warwick.

    I bought my BTB for almost 7000 dkr (ca. 8 dkr = 1$/ ca.11dkr = 1£)

the warwick bass is for sale at 5000 dkr., and THATS **** cheap!

The Warwick is probably better built...so in terms of quality it may be better...but it all depends on what sound you're shooting for. Warwicks have a lot of midrange growl, where Ibanez's tend to be very bassy with less mids (and when you turn the mids up they don't sound too great in my opinion). I have an Ibanez EDB605 but it doesn't even compare to my Musicman Stingray5

  5. Well.. I have never played a streamer standard, and I'm not sure about its specs, but I don't think there is a huge difference in quality and construction between it and your btb. And about the mid range issue, the btb400 series have very good sounding mids and it's very versatile thanks to the vari-mid eq. So..
I recommend you to plat the streamer, maybe is less than you expect..

And btw.. If you wanted to buy it, would you have to seel your btb? cause if you dont, maybe you should take the deal before someone does it first!

I say you should go try the streamer..
