I use warwick redlabel strings on my APB-4 Fernandes at home. I'm in LA now attending MI and I bought a 5-string stingray about a month ago. Today I bought a set of Warwick blacklabel stainless steel strings for it. I got an even better tone and a killer bite from them. I think earnie ball slinkies came with the bass. Anyone used warwick strings and have an opinion of them? Any tips on other strings that sounds good on a stingray 5?
    Thank's

Music Mans are generally a little on the bright side... if you like a more balanced sound, try something besides a stainless steel string... a nickel (DR "Sunbeam" premium nickel) string will help give you more low end punch and trim off some of the bright upper register information...
