    Hey guys

I get along with my thumb very well most of the time. The only problem I encounter.. (well, the most significant of three problems!)..is this: I always find I'm lacking a nice mid boost. Sometimes I want a punchier sound, sometimes I need a quick boost to get a harmonic chord ringing out.

Could anyone advise me on how to go about upgrading for 3 band EQ? E.g. where to go (didnt get far on the warwick site) and where to get perhaps the extra pot?

If I managed to get the bits and pieces together I would have it put in properly by the Bass Centre London, or the Gallery.

    Thanks in advance!

    Mike :)

Don't upgrade to the MEC3 preamp, get an Aguilar OBP-3 instead. Just put one in my '87 Streamer and it blows the old MEC preamp away - see my review in the pickups section.

    yup, I'll second that recommendation.
