Warwick Dirty Blonde Thumb 5 - $1750 shipped and paypal'd

Body do I hate letting go of this one, but GAS and impulse struck almost right after I received it and now I need some cash. This bass is in excellent condition, and one of the most aesthetically pleasing instruments I've owned. No issues, has some very small blemishes here and there. Also this is one of the lightest 5ers I've held...weighs between 8 and 9 lbs. Ships with a hard case (non-OEM)

Are any of the latches or hinges broken on the case or is it just scratched up??

There are a couple of cracks in the main contact areas of the case, and one of the hinges is missing. The case still seems rather sturdy and latches on well.

According to my little scale, it is approx. 10.8 lbs.

Bongo weighs about 10.7 lbs, although it feels a lot lighter than the thumb 5 I have on this thread, despite the similar numbers.

With this finish and the two Firemist finishes, EB is knocking it out of the ballpark.

Changed the thread title to reflect that the bolt on thumb is actually a 1997 model. Thanks to maddanthony_59 for the heads up!

Thumb back on the block. Really wish I could keep it (love my thumbs) but I need cash. Bongo off the block as I love that damn thing too much...for now.

Just a tip to the people less familiar with the different Warwick Era's. The 1995 - 1997 Warwick Bolt-Ons are the ones to get! '93 - Early '95 were so off balance, and the bodies were made of Cherry. After '97 the Ovangkol neck comes on the scene, and then the "BallBat" necks, Dogs mating with Cats, Fire, Brimstone, etc...

    For the Record, I have 2 '97 Thumbs, a BN BO-5 and an NT-5.

I know it says no trade but Gotttttta try on the fretted bongo. Trade for a 5 string Stingray H with luminlays and piezo. Custom bass clef luminlays heart inlay on the 12th fret. Matching headstock and Birdseye neck
