I'm looking for an amp to compliment the great sound of my thumb. I don't need too much power but enough for good stage volume.

When I owned a thumb I played through one of the vintage SVT-II's (pre-pro model)and loved the sound. At 80lbs. though it was not light. I then bought my current 400+ (40 lbs.)and loved it with that too. So I would say tube amps are excellent accompanyment. Since weight is an issue with those, I also here that the old pre-CBS:D SWR 900's sound great with them also.:bassist:
