i am having some issues with removing the "easy access truss rod plate" on my warwick thumb bass bolt-on 5 string. i can't remove it when i use the recommended flat head screw driver to pop the plate off. now the plastic around the plate has become ground down and i still can't seem to get it off. does anyone know where i can obtain a whole new replacement plate, not just the piece that pops off?

i already emailed warwick but just in case they don't email me back i'd really like to be able to get one on my own in the event that they do not respond.

I just talked to someone at Dana B. Goods which appears to be the US distributor and it sounds like they are just going to ship me a whole new truss rod cover. The guy I needed to talk to wasn't in today but the gentlemen I spoke to was real cool and said that he would be in on Monday and would probably just ship me a new one. Just thought I'd post my follow up in case anyone else ever ran into a similar situation and didn't know what to do.

Yeah Warwicks tech support is amazing... I bought a Warwick on ebay and when I got it there was an input jack issue and a tuning key issue. They sent me new ones within a couple days. The input jack lost its tightness and popped when the cord moved and the tuning key's nut would pop out of place when the string got tuned to pitch and cause the washer under it to flap around... Awesome tech support, awesome company, awesome basses
