Wow..that is definately my favorite warwick body yet. I really like it actually. I don't usually like warwick bodies either nanook. The double jazz pup setup at the bridge looks interesting- I hope I get a chance to try one of those Vampyres out sometime down the road. :D Only, why do these guys always gotta ruin the pics with that nasty chick :p.

I actually quite like the amoeba shaped aesthetic of some of Warwick's other models. The Vampyre looks as if it would be out of place in pretty much anything except a metal band, whereas the other models would fit in better in a much wider range of contexts.

Each to their own, I guess. ;)

I would think the balance would be perfect on that....but I would still much prefer an amoeba.

I usually love Warwick's body shapes. But I think the Vampyre is the worst looking Warwick ever.

BTW, the B string seems really *floppy* on this particular bass... just look at the picture, it seems to be completely detuned !

  7. whoa, you're right. that's ridiculous! not often you can actually SEE the floppiness.

I once had impure thoughts. Oh, and I pluck my ear hair.
Ever notice how said skanky chick always poses as if she's wearing some sort of corrective back brace, you know, just to "shove 'em out there" as much as possible?

    Bleech*!!!!!

tut tut, for shame Warwick.....not since actually writing the numbers on the fretboard of the Buzzard have you let me down SO hurtfully.

....and fat ugly chick REALLY isn't helping the cause.

That body does nothing for me. I ain't too crazy about the bass either!

  11. Hey, the numbers (and shape) were John Entwistle's choice--the Status version has them too, and his Alembics had the note names inlayed! So like 'em or not, it's not really Warwick's doing.

Um, ain't that the point of having a chick in a bass ad? ;)

(notice that I used the word ad, now if someone would have say, their wifey holding a bass *coughJTcough* just for the pic, it would not be skanky or "shoving them out" or anything in any ways! :bassist: )

I think she is kind of hot. A little on the chunky side. Nevertheless, I would'nt kick her out of bed for eating crackers. Hey, at least she's not modeling guitars!
