Warwick WA600 - thoughts please?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by NZBassman, Mar 29, 2013.

  1. I'm looking at upgrading my Warwick Profet 5.1 and the other day I tried the WA600 through a cab identical to mine
I thought the sound was really good, but there were 2 things I didn't really like
    1) Didn't really like the grey face plate - it looked cheap and tacky
    2) Didn't like the EQ sliders, they were very thin flimsy plastic and felt like they could snap off / break very easily.

does anyone have one of these amps - thoughts please?

recently grabbed one off ebay at a sweet price. playin a modded lakland thru it. extremely clear head. good bit of head room running at 4 ohms. havent had an issue with the sliders but they do worry me. guess as long as its safe and snug in the rack should be ok. other than the sliders im pretty well pleased.
  3. The new warwick stuff sounds decent but to be honest, their construction quality of late rivals sansui hi-fi's
