I came across a bass on a local classified site that the current owner cannot seem to be able to ID.

To me, it looks like a Warwick, but there's no logo on the headstock.

I've asked the seller if they knew where the bass comes from or if they have any idea of its age; still waiting for an answer.

Any of you experts in all thing Warwick and Warwick-y are able to tell me if this is a Warwick, a clone, or I am hallucinating and this isn't even nearly a Warwick?

Looks like a wood shop project and they copied the Warwick headstock... it's likely worth about the cost of the parts.

Looks vaguely like a Streamer, but it certainly isn't the real thing.

Yeah, the headstock does look a bit rough to me too. The body looks nice though.

    Attached a couple more pics.

Looks like the woods may be mahogany and cherry?

overall- really... for someone's home project... there are builders out there who charge money to do worse jobs.

I actually like the body shape- the neck heel looks a little "off" like the neck and body aren't meant to be together and the upper horn looks slightly different from the upper horn-

but whomever built it is off to a good start- I'd like to see what they are doing now...
