hello,I have a washburn b-10 and i cant find anything about it it has a push button wich i belive makes it active it does have a 9 volt battery in it and the volume gets way louder when i push the button..is this a active/passive set up? i belive it is.
and do you know what kind of pickups they are? I and my whole band love its sound..nothing weve tryed compares to it..i tested a lot of guitars out and its my favorite sounding one including guitars in the $2000 + price range(fenders). this one sounds so nice for the $400 i paid for it with case used..just wondering if anyone knows some more about it thanks!!!

The tone pulls out to be passive, push in to be active. I just started playing again after taking a decade off. I don't have a batter in mine at this time, so I have the tone pulled up so I can play it passive. I notice, however, that if I turn one pick up off, there is a lot of buzz. Are you getting any buzz when you use only one active pick-up?
