    Location:

    Final Price DROP $435!!!

Recently purchased bass as I was curious with status electronics (bright and punchy. Basically a Jazz Bass on steroids!). Turns out I’m not a fan for what I need for my music writing. This bass has been cleaned and polished, gave it a good fretboard conditioning so it’s nice and clean looking. Has a little ding on the top of the headstock, nothing too serious or eye gouging. GHS Progressives are freshly set. Comes in a hard shell case!

I'm not overly familiar with Washburn - never owned one - but man, these MB-8 models sure look nice...I first laid eyes on a red-with-maple-fingerboard version on Reverb a few months ago...what's the board on this one? Ebony?

Yes they were stock when these Basses were introduced. This was a partnership that Status had with Washburn to supply electronics and only lasted 2 years so theres not many of these out in the wild.

I'm the guy who bought your bass. I have added it to my collection.
By the way, do you have the missing tuner? I am in search of buying some OEM replacements if any one out there can hook me up.

Should be a ziplock bag of tuners inside the case when I shipped it out to you. The original owner had em bagged up when I bought it. Not sure if they are original though.

They were there in the baggie and are the original tuners. But, there are only three. That's why I am looking for some more Washburn brand tuners.
BTW, just finished band practice today and played it for 3 hours. It sounds great. Of course I had to tweek the setup a tad for my playing style but, that's to be expected.

Oh wow that’s interesting. To be quite honest I never took the original tuners out of the bag. Just saw them there and never bothered to fully look through them when I had the bass. Hopefully you’re able to find the one missing tuner.

Glad you’re digging the bass! When I first got it I left it the way it was setup from the original owner even when swapping out the Funkmaster that were on that bass to the discontinued GHS Progressive sets.

I changed the strings too. I always use Dunlop Super Brights. Gives me a nice crisp sound then back off the treble a tad.
