Friday I get paid. The local shop has a used Peavey millennium and a washburn XB120 for about $115.00. I liked them both. The active Washburn sounded nice, but the Peavey played super slick and had a great J-Bass ish sound. What do you think?

  2. I would lean toward the Peavey if given those two as my choices.

Buy both and take the best parts from each and make one big super-bass. You could call it a Peaburn.

  11. I'd say go with the Peavey as well.

    My favorite answer...

Looks like it's Peavey by a landslide. My son (a guitar player) pointed out that when I can afford to move up, the Washburn would have no trade in value. Thanks for the input!

    *UPDATE*

I bought the Peavey. Big bang for my buck. Makes my OLP feel like a piece of crap...
