Just heard a tune by Sadao Watanabe with Lee Ritenour (Live) on the radio. Didn't catch the title or the abum it was off of. Don't know who was on bass but he (she?) was pretty darned good. Any of you jazzaholics able to point me in the right direction?

    X Man-
Sorry, I only have 2-3 of his LPs from the late '70s. These would fall into Pop-Jazz realm...sorta a pre-cursor to the GRP sound of the '80s.
Watanabe always seems to have the creme of the crop as far as his backing 'studio' band(Ritenour, Grusin, Rainey, Laboriel, Coliauta, etc).
