...60s Jazz Bass, strung with old D' Addario nickel wounds.
As I absolutely love my CV '60s P, I've looked for a CV Jazz on the second hand market, every now and then.
Two weeks ago, I've found this beautiful olympic white one, and it's been a very attractive deal! ;-)
So, here we go, please have a look and listen at my newest video, featuring my new Jazz:

I came this close to buying one of those (same colour) when I was shopping for my P.
What a great Jazz bass that is.

Great stuff, as always. Also nice to hear a Jazz through your MicroBass and MultiComp...those pedals are really tempting me!

Thanks a lot for your kind words!
Once, I got fresh strings on it, I'll do a quick comparison to my '73 Jazz.
The '60s pickup spacing definitely results in a different tone and in a great punchy attack!

Very busy time for me, these last few months. But I just had to do a quick video with my new CV Jazz. ;-)
No set up, no new strings, just played into my EBS pedals, a few days after I've picked it up... ;-)

Good tones and video overall. Only gear snobs (and those who hate Fender) would snub these basses for the basic reason they say "Squier" on the headstock, these have great tone and are an overall great solid player.

Love your Youtube videos. Sounds great man!

I bought a CV 70s P bass not long ago. One heck of a bass and not just for the money.

I could put up a video of myself playing, and you'd notice a couple things:

    1) I spent more on my bass
    2) I spent less on lessons

    Nice job!

Mik that was fantastic, you're very talented. I can only imagine what it would be like to play like that. Well done.

That was great Mike - and you are right - the CV series is fantastic! I have a 5-string CV P I bought recently and it is completely fantastic now that it has TI flats and a good setup.
